ISTE Sponsored Two Days National Level Workshop on Development of New Methods for Pattern Fitting for Image compression using MATLAB
Event Snapshot
15th - 16th March 2018
Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Workshop
Venue/Offline Mode
Karpagam College of Engineering
About Event
Medical image processing is an interdisciplinary field which develops computational and mathematical methods for solving problems pertaining to medical images and their use for biomedical research and clinical care.
The main goal of medical image processing is to extract clinically relevant information or knowledge from medical images.
The workshop aims to review the current state, limitations and future trends in medical image processing. It includes the analysis, enhancement and display of images captured via x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and optical imaging technologies. Image reconstruction and modeling techniques allow instant processing of 2D signals to create 3D images.
